2007-2009 Hyundai Elantra Sedan receiver installation instructions

Instructions for installing a receiver:
1. unscrew the hexagon three screws from the plastic fascia included and remove the pieces of plastic from the tape. Apply pressure to opposite ends. Note: the Elantra and Rio 5 models only-Clip tab fascia included a socket. 2. the Lower exhaust of the vehicle in order to facilitate installation, removing rubber exhaust hanger services. 3. Raise hitch for the post, passenger side first. Rotate the position indicator on the outside of the frame rail. Pull gently, to disturb the fascia included. 4. raise the hitch on the driver's side, gently on the outside of the frame rail. Align the holes in the vehicle frame hitch openings on both sides. 5. install the equipment. Hand tighten the only until all equipment is installed. Note: due to the vehicle of the various configurations, will be the additional hardware left behind. 6. with all fasteners at the Center the hitch and tighten all M10 x 1.25 x 35 mm Hex CAP screws featuring # 2 to 40 pounds of torque (55N-m) and all of the M12 x 1.25 × 40 mm Hex CAP screws ft. # 4 to 75 pounds of torque (102N-m). Failure to Tighten the screws as specified may cause the loss of or damage to the fastener. 7. connect the exhaust hanger services locations (reverse step 2). 8. connect the fascia included tabs (reverse step 1).
